We are Tim & Christy, husband and wife team, that are passionate about local South Australian produce and drinks. Chin chin, especially gin!
The idea of SA giddy up bar came to us whilst living in London and backpacking around Europe in 2015. It was a hot summers day in Barcelona, Spain and we were walking along the beach in search of a spot to have a drink, when we came across a dreamy, sunflower yellow caravan serving tapas and sangria. We spent the rest of the afternoon eating delicious tapas and drinking with the locals. It's one of those special memories that will stick with us forever.
Experiencing many different cultures, and their beautiful local produce and drinks made us feel incredibly proud of the culturally-rich food and drink we produce right on our doorsteps in south Australia. We both love to explore, eat local produce, socialise and drink South Australian gins, spirits, beers, ciders and wine. So, why not bring all the things we love, together and showcase all South Australia has to offer in our own roaming mobile bar!
Together, on the family farm in the Adelaide Hills, we have spent countless hours outfitting and renovating a truly unique horse float, full of charm & bringing to life; SA giddy up bar.
Giddy wouldn't look the way she does today without Christy's dad, Craig -the carpentry expertise & creative mastermind!
